We’ve stayed in Kalathos before and Villa Irene was another level- absolutely superb. Stunning location, really well equipped, clean, easy to get in on arrival, private, views to die for and easy to reach the island hot spots outside the busy times. Better to have a car, although it’s also possible to conquer the hill and walk/ run to the beach and amenities if you avoid the midday heat. Appreciated the essential drinks/ food on arrival and helpful info in the guest book. Already hoping we can go back to this little bit of heaven!

All I can say is WOW.
The villa is spacious, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Overlooking a breathtaking scenery away from the thrum it is an idyl of Greek perfection.

Guest review - English translation:
14 days in October... ideal travel time for Rhodes. And the accommodation is ideal too. Great view of Kalathos Bay. The sunrise every morning is an experience.
The location is simply ideal for someone who wants to spend relaxing days away from the hustle and bustle. Completely quiet at the end of the street...just beautiful.
The furnishings in the villa leave nothing to be desired. Everything you need is there. Each room with a balcony or access to the terrace. The garden is lovingly landscaped.
There was a welcome pack of food and drinks...very generous.
Very nice contact with the owner who always answers questions immediately.
We really enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend Villa Irene and will definitely come back.

14 Tage im Oktober...ideale Reisezeit für Rhodos. Und ideal auch die Unterkunft. Toller Blick auf die Bucht von Kalathos. Der Sonnenaufgang jeden Morgen ein Erlebnis.
Die Lage ist für jemand der abseits des Trubels erholsame Tage verbringen möchte einfach ideal. Am Ende der Straße völlig ruhig gelegen...einfach nur schön.
Die Ausstattung in der Villa läßt keine Wünsche offen. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Jedes Zimmer mit Balkon oder Zugang auf die Terrasse. Der Garten ist liebevoll angelegt.
Es gab ein Willkommens-Paket mit Essen und Getränken ... sehr großzügig bemessen.
Sehr netter Kontakt zu der Besitzerin welche immer sofort auf Fragen antwortet.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, empfehlen die Villa Irene auf jeden Fall weiter und werden garantiert wieder kommen.

Nice clean villa with amazing views. Great sized pool & an enjoyable place to hang out for the day if you can't be bothered with the beach. 1 or 2 issues with fixtures & fittings but they didn't detract from the experience. Good location for visiting nearby Lindos, Pefkos, Haraki etc. Car essential.

Supermarché à 10 min et Rhodes City à 45 min
Super literie , cuisine pratique le tout avec la climatisation .

"The perfect base for adventures in Rhodes
The location of Villa Irene is lovely. Peaceful and quiet with spectacular views across a wide expanse of sea and sky - we saw some amazing sun rises and sun sets as well as a rising moon, which we had never experienced before.
The pool is a really good size for a private villa. Plenty of room for games and races or just lounging about and taking a refreshing dip. The Villa was comfortable and well equipped.
Traveller Tips:
The villa is about 45 mins from the airport. Signs are in English and the directions provided were good. Villa Irene is up a very steep slope which is a bit of a slog on foot sometimes, but the views the elevated position provides make it well worth the effort.
There is a tourist shop on way to Kalathos beach (3 mins in car) which has all the basics - water, milk, cereal, cheese, eggs etc. and the main supermarket, 3 mins up road towards Lindos, has everything you might need.
The stony beach is lovely and quiet and great for snorkelling and there are some good places to eat there.
Lindos is great for nights out (go for drinks about 6pm and eat later to catch the sunsets). It’s 10 minutes by taxi (14 euros there, 12 euros back). Food/ drinks between 60-70 euros for a family of 4. Great shops and brilliant rooftop restaurants.
I recommend renting a car which opens up the island to other beautiful beaches, villages and archeological sites. Such a lovely island deserves to be explored. Lots of places sold local delicacies such as flavoured ouzo’s, honey and biscuits. They were all delicious and were great gifts to take home."
